Bruno Bottega Pergher

Bruno is working on his PhD in Bio-polymers at the BDDC. He's mostly interested in the production of biodegradable and compostable materials for packaging and large-reach applications, and he's currently working with Bio-HDPE, a product made out of ethanol from Brazil's sugarcane. His Bachelor's degree (2016) was in Chemical Engineering, in Brazil, at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), and during his undergraduate studies he also studied at the University of Queensland, in Brisbane, Australia, for a year. After that, he did his Master's degree in Nanotechnology at the University of Zaragoza, in Spain, from 2016-2017.
