Dr. Roy is a dedicated professional with expertise in life cycle assessment (LCA) and life cycle costing (LCC). He specialized in agricultural engineering, agricultural resources management, agri-environment, solid waste management, value-added product development from biomass, biomaterials, and food processing. Dr. Roy has authored/co-authored 54 peer-reviewed research articles and 5 book chapters. Dr. Roy’s areas of research interest are waste to energy, biomaterials (thermochemical and biochemical conversion, co-processing), bio-based economy, bioprocessing & bioreactor design, and industrial symbiosis.
