Dr. Shiv Shankar received his PhD degree in Biotechnology from the National Chemical Laboratory, University of Pune, India. He worked as a Research Professor at Mokpo National University, South Korea (2014-2017), as a Korea Research Fellow at Kyung Hee University, South Korea (2017-2019), and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at INRS-Institut Armand Frappier (2019-2021). His main research work includes development of antimicrobial formulations, preparation of nanoparticles and nanocomposite materials for food packaging and biomedical applications. He has published 78 peer-reviewed research articles and 8 book chapters.
