Stefanie Arnold is a PhD candidate in Bioprocess Engineering at the University of Hohenheim,Germany, and a current visiting researcher at the University of Guelph. She received her BSc and MSc in Process Engineering at the University of Stuttgart, Germany. Her research interests include bioprocess engineering, bioeconomy, microbiology and molecular biology. Her current research is focused on evaluation of pyrolysis oil as a platform substrate for bacterial fermentation.
