Sasha Paquette is entering her third year of Biological Engineering (Co-op), specializing in Biochemical Engineering. Her research at the BDDC will focus on systematic evaluation and comparison of the effect of recycling on the properties of most common petroleum-based and bio-based plastics. Sasha is very eager to delve into this research project, with the goal of understanding the key variables that impact recycling and designing solutions for utilizing recycled plastics in advanced composites.
