Thomas is an undergraduate Biological Engineering Co-op student in his third year at the University of Guelph, completing a work term at the Bioproducts Discovery and Development Center. His work is focused on the fabrication of sustainable biomaterials using advanced 3D printing methods, specifically the selective laser sintering (SLS) of polyhydroxybutyrate (PHB).
