Dr. Matias Menossi received his Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences from the Faculty of Exact, Physic and Natural Sciences, National University of Córdoba, Córdoba, Argentina in 2020. He worked as postdoctoral fellow until 2023 at the Institute for Materials Science and Technology Research, in Thermoplastic Composite Materials division developing materials for agricultural applications. 

His main research interests include bio-based polymers, polymer functionalization and characterization, polymer composites, polymer processing, polymer compatibility, degradation behavior and nanocomposites. He is currently working on bio-based polymer blends and their processing for packaging applications.
