Akhilesh Kumar Pal was born in 1987 in Uttar Pradesh, India. His main research interests include biopolymers, polymer extraction, functionalization and characterization, polymerization, polymer composites, polymer processing, polymer rheology, bionanocomposites and food packaging. He is currently working on biobased polymer composites and their processing for sustainable packaging.
