Sarah is an undergraduate student in her second year of the Biochemistry with co-op program at the University of Guelph. Sarah’s research is focused on the repetitive extrusion and characterization of biocarbon composites, then their comparison to the petroleum-based composite without biobased reinforcement. Sarah’s research is centred around the development of environmentally friendly composites that are competitive with the products currently in market.
