Presentation by Prof. Amar Mohanty at the Guelph Talks Research Speaker Series 2018

On March 20, 2018, Prof. Amar Mohanty took part in a Guelph Talks Research Speaker Series, where three different speakers offered unique perspectives on the same topic. Prof. Malcolm Campbell, Vice President (Research) moderated the panel, while Drs. Amar Mohanty, Towhidul Islam, and Shayan Sharif all spoke on the subject of data. 

Prof. Mohanty discussed green technology, and sustainability through a circular economy. He spoke about the importance of striving to build a zero-waste society, and future trends in resource use. Lastly, he described greener industrial products on the market today, such as compostable coffee pods made from food waste.
