HQP Presented at the SPE ACCE 2022 Conference

HQP presented their work at the Society of Plastics Engineer's (SPE) Automotive Composites Conference & Exhibition (ACCE) on September 7-9, 2022 in Novi, MI, USA. 

The conference theme was “Composites: The Key to Electriv Vehicles - Mobility and Sustainability" and included three days of presentations and posters highlighting how the automotive and transportation industries are advancing with composited playing a key role in the development of electric vehicles and sustainability initiatives worldwide.

Kiara Mohr 3rd place undergraduate poster - "Cork waste in sustainable composites uses: Performance comparison between biodegradable composites and polypropylene-based composites"

Rachel Lewis - "Performance evaluation of thermoplastic polyolefins and composites manufactured with recycled polypropylene and almond shell"

Zohrah B. Varsally - "Sustainable biocomposites from ocean recycled nylon and lignin-based biocarbon"

Arturo Rodriguez-Uribe - "Upcycling of biomass and food wastes in engineering PP-based biocomposites for auto-parts uses" 

Haftom Weldekidan - "Advanced bio-carbon from waste burlap biomass for improved thermal management of biocomposites"
