Prof. Misra was invited to BEPS 27th as a plenary speaker and presented her research on "Single-use Plastics: Challenges & Alternatives" on June 24, 2021. 

The BEPS meetings aim at bringing scientists and researchers from across the globe to present and exchange breakthrough ideas related to biobased and sustainable materials and technologies. This year’s meeting theme was “Bridging Sustainability Gaps via Reshaped Polymers and Mindsets.” Reshaped is utilized to describe redesigning all facets of plastics, from raw materials to processing to in-use and end-use properties to societal impacts to education.
