The Bioproducts AgriScience Research Cluster initiative is managed by Bioindustrial Innovation Canada (BIC). This initiative is a nationally distributed pre-commercial research cluster focused on the development of industrial bioproducts technologies and their feedstocks from the Canadian agriculture sector, supported by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. Funding was provided through the Canadian Agricultural Partnership's, AgriScience Program.
The Annual Conference and Bioproducts Cluster Workshop were held on Feb 8-9, 2023, at the Delta by Marriott hotel, in Ottawa.
Prof. Amar Mohanty presented the update on the BDDC project in this CAP cluster, titled "Improved Utilization of Downstream Products from Bioethanol Industry for New Industrial Applications".
