Congratulations to Profs. Manjusri Misra and Amar Mohanty for their awards and invited talks at CHEMCON 2025, hosted by the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (IIChE).

Prof. Misra received the CSIR-CSMCRI CHEMCON Distinguished Speaker Award 2025.

Prof. Mohanty received the RPG Life Science Padma Vibhushan Prof. M. M. Sharma Medal and CHEMCON Distinguished Speaker Award 2025.

Both professors gave Award Lectures and were invited speakers at the Indo-US-Canada Symposia, held on December 29, 2025.

IIChE CHEMCON 2025 was held from December 28-30, 2025, at Annamalai University, Annamalainagar, Tamilnadu. The conference theme was "AI-Driven Chemical Engineering Processes - Transformation and Sustainability", and focused on the industrial challenge of optimizing process efficiency while minimizing environmental impact, along with the solutions AI may provide for green manufacturing, waste minimization, energy conservation, and circular economy practices.
