Grade 9 IB Class from Robert Bateman High School Visit BDDC

A group of 26 grade 9 IB students from Robert Bateman High School visited the Bioproducts Discovery and Development Centre as part of their Ecology unit. . Andrew Anstey provided an overview of the Centre's activities while highlighting the products and research on the utilization of food waste. A tour of the BDDC lab facilities explaining the R&D on environmentally friendly products made from renewable resources was facilitated by Andrew. Concurrently, Sue Couling, the Crop Science Growth Facilities Technician provided a tour of the Growth Facilities and providing a brief explanation of the research.
